Since the foundation of SCCH in 1999, the importance of Data and Software Science has increased. Due to the rapid development of Deep Learning and in connection with future topics such as Industry 4.0, IoT and Artificial Intelligence, the linking of Data and Software Science is of enormous importance. At SCCH, research & development is conducted in both areas.

SCCH is the only COMET center that focuses on data and software science. Excellent research is conducted in both areas at SCCH.

COMET centres promote the networking of basic scientific research and applied research and development. SCCH is evaluated at regular intervals by an international jury of experts. This guarantees an outstanding standard of research. For companies, SCCH is therefore a powerful cooperation partner, as they benefit from the COMET program and the center's highly qualified researchers.

Scientific networking
SCCH bundles and integrates national and international scientific competencies and expands its contacts to scientists and scientific institutes in Austria and abroad in a project- and future-oriented manner.
