Who we are:

datavisyn was founded by four leading scientists in the field of visual data science for biomedical informatics.
Marc, Sam, Alex, and Nils have collaborated on dozens of research papers and released many open-source software packages for biomedical data analysis in their capacity as professors and researchers at JKU Linz, the University of Utah, and Harvard University. While we love research and remain committed to open source, we created datavisyn to make the latest scientific and technological advances available to commercial entities and provide services – such as data integration and custom solutions – that are not possible in an academic context.
